Organizational Description

Ijele Renaissance Theatre is an award winning and leading cultural theatre in Enugu, Eastern Nigeria. A resident theatre in the Centre For Memories, Enugu. We are duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria under the department of Arts and Entertainment. The theatre was founded on 26th of June,2022.

Since inception, we have had six plays on stage:

• • PIECES OF OUR BONES (June 26th, 2022)

• • ỤWA MỤNACHI : AN OLD SOUL ( December 2022)

• • SIZWE BANSI IS DEAD (JUNE 4th , 2023)

• • OUR HUSBAND HAS GONE MADE AGAIN by Ola Rotimi (December, 2023)

• • SHỌPỤ MPA OKEY (April 7th, 2024).

• • ALỊKA SEVEN UP (4TH November,2024)
